INTRODUCING - Full Circle
Each song has been uniquely arranged through a jazz lens, while keeping intact the original feeling behind each of the songs, and features world-class jazz musicians, Dino Govoni, sax, Jay Azzolina, guitar, Dave Zinno, Bass, Marty Richards, drums, as well as a guest appearance by jazz pianist, Paul Nagel, who wrote two beautiful arrangements for Blue and Urge for Going.
Additional songs on the recording include, Black Crow, Jericho, Be Cool, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat, Both Sides Now, The Circle Game, Big Yellow Taxi, A Case of You, The Dry Cleaner From Des Moines, and Woodstock.
Debra’s admiration for Joni goes back a long way and inspired her to become a musician. In 2012, she began presenting concerts of her music to overwhelmingly receptive audiences. Making this recording completed a full circle for Debra, and inspired the project’s title.
